Players' Code of Conduct
As a KAMHA player, I will:
1. Respect and adhere to the ideals, policies, and rules determined by Hockey Canada, Hockey P.E.I., KAMHA and my team.
2. Respect the rules of the game, opponents, officials and their decisions.
3. Not make any derogatory comments to another individual’s race, ethnic origin, colour, religion, gender and/or sexual orientation or do anything that could hurt someone else physically or emotionally..
4. Maintain self control at all times
5. Attend as many games and practices as reasonably possible.
6. Be present before games and practices in a timely manner
7. Notify the coach/manager ahead of time if I will be absent.
8. Respect the facilities, either home or away, in which I’m privileged to play.
9. Exhibit a high degree of sportsmanship, teamwork and positive attitude at all times when representing my team and the Association
10. Refrain from using foul language towards teammates, coaches, officials or opponents
11. Show respect for the decisions, judgment and authority of the officials and timekeepers
12. Show respect for the feelings and abilities of the players on the other team.
13. Accept the capabilities of other players.
14.Accept defeat gracefully…love the game above the prize.
